Diving In: EssayShark Academic Writing Review

Let’s talk about the purchasing process over at Essay Shark.

EssayShark, like most of the other scam essay writing service sites out there, uses a fake engagement system to give you the illusion that you’re choosing your writer.

In other words, the platform’s bidding system automatically cues fake bids.

This might look like a convenient platform, but in reality, it’s kind of a big joke.

I submitted a test order and immediately got hit with 3 bids in less than 30 seconds.

This is only possible if they’re all done by robots.

So, sadly, this is all automated, and no part of it is real.

Much like their customer support team, it’s a bit of a “bait and switch” type of scheme here and not an example of the best service being provided.

From the time I uploaded my project to the time I got the same, seemingly computerized bids from several writers, it was maybe 2-3 seconds.

While I’m sure there’s someone out there who really does watch their computer this closely (like me), there’s no way that this is what’s taking place with 3+ writers over at Essay Shark.

Sadly, they have a fake bidding system in place, which is standard practice. It’s not good, but it is the truth. It provides an “illusion of choice," when in reality, they just stick you with whatever junk writer is available the minute you fork over your cash.

Guys, high-quality academic writing services don’t play little games like this.

“I’m A Professional Expert” - Ummm, What?!

Look at how weird her English is: “I am a professional expert."

Like, what? That’s like saying, “I’m a professional human” or “I’m a stay-at-home son!” Weird.

It makes me suspect whoever wrote this automated message is not a native English speaker.

Perhaps she shouldn’t be working with essay writing services and should instead get a job more suited to her skill set.

So, as you can see, it’s worth noting that EssayShark doesn’t offer much in terms of direct communication. It’s totally impersonal and very strange.

Needless to say, there is no way she is a professional writer.

I chatted with their customer support to get more answers here, but the results were not great. On top of that, pretty much all of the Essay Shark reviews have found the same conclusions. I hope they offer free revisions - as their customers will need them!

Let’s just say that their support team does not come across as the world’s smartest folks...

And, as per a few other reviews I’ve read online, EssayShark sometimes offers “sort-of” direct communication with writers for academic assistance.

Still, the replies are often not timely, leading to misunderstandings and the need for multiple revisions.

This is just one of the many negative EssayShark reviews you can find with a quick search around online.

This brings me to my next point: the legitimacy of those working for EssayShark.

Or rather, the total LACK of legitimacy.

Foreign Writing Tutors - The Most Telling Part of this EssayShark Review

As per the bottom of their website, EssayShark claims that they’re based in Cyprus.

Cyprus is a random little island country next to Jordan, Oman, and Turkey. It’s more like a place you see on the news for being wrapped up in a foreign conflict than a great place where tons of amazing academic writers hang out.

This is definitely disturbing, but it's realistic. This makes perfect sense for a company whose prices are a bit high and receives negative feedback on paper quality quite regularly.

Where Is Cyprus, Anyway?

If you’ve never heard of Cyprus, you’re like most people.

It’s honestly a super obscure place to have a company based. Most of the time, it’s just because they’ve set up a shell company there to avoid taxes and lawsuits and engage in other sketchy business practices due to their relative lack of laws.

If you think Cyprus is a place that’s some haven for amazing essay writing, think again!

It stands to reason that if the company is based there, they’re probably also pulling workers from Cyprus. Could this be why they have so many negative reviews?

More likely, they are amongst the many Kenyan or Ukrainian essay-writing services with a fake mailbox in Cyprus, and they hire people from third-world countries to write for you while paying them literal pennies.

Is EssayShark Based in Ukraine? Yes, They Are...

A little detective work reveals that EssayShark is actually based in Ukraine.

Yes, that place you see on the news right now where some not-so-great things are happening.

We have nothing against Ukraine or the Ukrainian people (we wish for world peace!), but Ukrainian companies have absolutely no business providing essay-writing services to students like you. This is due to their lack of understanding of English and the extremely low level of customer service that most Ukrainian companies are known for.

Again, this isn’t me guessing that EssayShark is based in Ukraine. In fact, they have kind of been advertising it lately.

Why would they put “We Stand With Ukraine” in their site banner if they weren’t Ukrainian-run?

That’s totally unrelated to writing services and helping you get your schoolwork done.

In reality, EssayShark is a Ukrainian company that employs writers, support staff, and administrators in Ukraine.

They do this because it is a very poor country where the cost of labor is very cheap, and this allows them to minimize their expenses while charging you out the .wazoo. The war in Ukraine directly affects everything about their service, and this is precisely why they’re advertising their support for the country in their site banner.

Foreign Companies Should NOT Be Helping You With Essays

We are NOT trying to bash people living in foreign countries. I totally respect anybody who puts in a hard day’s work. But, if you’ve ever been on a customer support call with someone from another country, you know how frustrating it can be to get something basic done, like canceling a credit card.

Is this the type of person you want to have writing your essay? I don’t think so.

People like this typically aren’t good essay writers capable of cranking out high-quality work, regardless of academic level. This is because English is not the first spoken language in most of these countries, and people who learn English as a second language almost always lack the skills that a native speaker has.

Yet, hiring people like this is always cheaper than investing in a Canadian or American team that does great work, so there’s a financial upside for a company like EssayShark. On the flip side, however, it’s very bad for you as the customer, as workers like this do not provide quality papers by any stretch of the imagination!

And, as a way of proving this, we need not look further than the sample essays they’ve gladly plastered on their site.

Terrible Sample Essays on EssayShark

Essay writing services will often use samples to prove they’re a legitimate company to you. In other words, they’ll choose their best essays as examples of the kind of quality you can expect when ordering from them.

What’s hilariously bad about EssayShark is that their samples are, to put it lightly, terrible.

I read through at least 20 of them while doing this review, and it’s hilarious that these guys believe these are the essays they should show you to display their quality.

I was shocked. Whether it was a complete lack of a clear thesis statement, run-on sentences, misspelled words, or dozens of little formatting mistakes, it’s clear that this company is total crap.

EssayShark Misspells Basic Words

So, we know that not only can the writers on EssayShark not write at all, but even their administrators and managers don’t know how to tell a good essay from a terrible one.

That, my friend, should terrify you if you’re considering working with them.

In one brief, they’ve literally misspelled “notes." See below!

Like, what does that even mean?

Clearly, the person who wrote this has no understanding of American culture and should not be working for an essay-writing service. Essay writers should come from countries where English is the primary language, not a second or third choice!

In any case, this is not well written at all. I’d expect more from a 15-year-old with a few hours of writing classes under their belt.

I’m shocked they have these bad samples floating around on the internet for people to see. How can someone who runs a company specializing in essay writing put out such negative publicity for themselves?

If you’re wondering, “Is EssayShark legit?” this alone should answer your question!

Customers Got What Was Coming To Them...

I’m not the only one who thinks everything going on over there at EssayShark is 100% fishy.

In fact, there are plenty of poor reviews online that more or less back up everything I’m talking about here.

Accusations of AI Use?

Unfortunately, the poor girl in the review above got what was coming to her using EssayShark.

They literally used AI to write her paper - a total sin in this industry!

Any good essay writer knows that you CANNOT use any form of AI in your writing, or your client can potentially get flagged for it and may fail their assignment entirely.

It doesn’t matter if the paper meets all of the specifications in a case like this. If they use AI, it’s a failure.

It’s not like the writer can blame technical difficulties, either. This is honestly a case of straight-up bad intent.

Worst of all, it looks like this was the first essay she had ordered online, too, and despite promises of unlimited revisions, the paper didn’t pan out for her at all.

Sadly, it looks like this is what happened above. She likely got lured in by low EssayShark prices, only to find out she paid far more than she could have bargained for.

Needless to say, here at Killer Papers, we NEVER use AI for absolutely anything in the essay writing process.

I bet she was also asking, “Is Essay Shark legit?” only to be totally disappointed.

That’s why I wrote this Essay Shark review: To protect you from being scammed by such alleged “experts.” The “professional writers” at EssayShark are not what they claim to be at all!

The Killer Papers Difference: Only Qualified Tutors

Social Media - This Review Tells All!

The next step in my research to write this review was to check out their social media presence.

The issue is it is almost non-existent.

While they have an Instagram page, they get between 1 - 10 likes per post and have basically no engagement with their followers.

This shows you that this isn’t a real service but (more likely) a phony-front business.

Guys, explain to me how this is supposed to make any sense at all. If EssayShark does help everyone they claim to each year, wouldn’t they have a fair few loyal fans gassing them up on social media?

Well, they don’t because they don’t actually generate the results for people that they claim to. If they did, they’d have an Instagram account with hundreds of positive reviews, people commenting on posts talking about their experience, and an engaged community around the company.

EssayShark might seem like a reliable essay writing service on the surface, and affordable prices make them all the more appealing. They even have a decent-looking website.

Dig Deep & See The EssayShark Lies!

BUT - if you dig a little deeper, you can see that the samples they have on their site are absolute crap, and their writer profiles are totally fake.

Despite their promise of using the “best writers” and providing well-researched, timely assignments free of grammatical errors and complete with in-text citations, they’re a gigantic letdown of a company that is little more than a waste of your money.

Trust me: I ran through their ordering process, inspected their paper quality, and read countless other EssayShark reviews. It was not a positive experience, and I can’t imagine anyone relying on them for completed assignments would do well at all.

All of this, plus a Cyprus-based address and support messages for Ukraine, means you can be assured this is NOT a service to trust. They’re another foreign chop shop that only wants to take your money and leave your grades in the dust!

My Conclusion: EssayShark Sucks

The main message of this review is this: Trust me, you can do better. Sadly for them, I’ve got no kind words to share.

EssayShark’s writing service is unreliable and lacks the quality you need for your academic success. Stop asking yourself, “Is EssayShark trustworthy?” The answer is NO. They’re not a good writing service at all, and that’s proven by everything from their site content to their lack of a support team and terrible customer reviews.
